Comical Turkeys

APOLOGIES...s'il te plait, forgive me! :( I have been neglecting my poor blog....sorry bloggy.

Well, AT LEAST I AM HERE NOW! :D And as your gift for my return, you get to enjoy a funny pic of this turkey.
HAHA! TIS A TURKEY! And it's holding a sign that says to eat ham! (compliments of Ham Inc., where "Ham is good, You are not!" ((annie.... :)) )
Poor turkey. I mean, look at him. He's standing all alone in his grassy, idyllic meadow, awaiting his death.....

All of his other friends have been picked up, and, well...you know. This picture was taken duringThanksgiving season, of course. And so, as a last attempt to save his small yet valuable life, he holds the sign (compliments of Ham Inc.) and begs to stay as he is.

Even if he is all alone in his grassy, idyllic meadow.

Spare me, he thinks as the farmer draws closer to him. He is sweating. Yes, through all those feathers, he is sweating.

The farmer appears to know his thoughts. He sighs, rubs his hand over his stubbly chin, and then turns around. He runs into his house, and then out again, with a camera in hand.

And so came about this photo.

Wait, wait! Hold your pigs and lambs and other various farm animals. I haven't finished telling this story.

So the turkey (yet to be named) is taken a picture of. Unfortunately, the farmer had a firm dislike of Ham Inc. and all of their advertisement. In fact, he was so incredibly tired of all of Ham Inc.'s campaigning, that he proceeded to (though reluctantly) kill the turkey.

As a way to remember him and honor him (maybe...the farmer's location is unknown at this moment and so details such as these are not to be known) the farmer, his wife Sylvia, and their sixteen children ate the turkey themselves.

And thus ends the tale of Herald the turkey (now named). Please join us next week when we talk about dissecting pigs! (haha....no.)
